ALSAR Conference 2011

The Association of Lowland Search and Rescue (ALSAR) is a voluntary organisation dedicated to assisting the emergency services in the search for missing persons.

In 2010 ALSAR held its first national conference in Wiltshire. The conference now runs on alternate years with the Mountain Rescue Conference.

Following Responder Technology's successful stand at the first conference, we returned this year as Title Sponsor. Although many different organisations now use SMS Responder, ALSAR teams were the first adopters and we support ALSAR as they grow and gain increasing influence in the voluntary SAR community.

Thanks to all who visited our stand. It was great to be able to assist with some technical questions on our service, and we had some very constructive discussions about future development for SMS Responder.
